Your child may have a school lunch or, if they prefer, bring their own packed lunch. We have a large kitchen and the school meals are cooked on site. The menu is planned for three weeks in advance and is written up each day. There is a choice of food, with a daily salad bar. The selection caters for a range of dietary preferences and needs.
If you would like your child to have a school meal, please speak to the Office as we have a cashless system with money being paid either at a local shop or via a website and they will give you all the information you need.
If your child has a packed lunch, please provide a clearly labelled lunch box and put the drink in a plastic container (no glass bottles). We are committed to healthy eating, we do not allow sweets, chocolates or fizzy drinks.
If you are receiving Income based Job Seekers Allowance or Income Support from the D.H.S.S. your children are entitled to free school meals, so please ask for a form from the school office or the Education Department. If you are on Income Support, please register your children for a free school meal, even if you wish to provide your own.
If you are not receiving benefits you may still have the right to free school meals and should apply to the Education Department or ask at school. All enquiries are strictly confidential.
