Every year, Joan organises a trip to a sea side resort. This year, the trip was to Clacton. From the minute our families arrived, eager to board the coach, Joan knew it was going to be one of the best trips she has ever organised. The excitement continued the whole day. This morning, I was greeted by many happy parents who said they did have a super day. Thank you to all who went and to Joan for organising such a delightful, weekend day trip!
Year 2 had a lovely day on Friday when they went on their excursion to The Sea Life Aquarium. They saw many incredible creatures that live in our seas. Once again our school was commended for behaving beautifully. Thank you to the staff who accompanied the children. It was a wonderful experience for all!
Well done to our newly formed Cricket Team who took part in their first tournament this week. They were worthy opponents who made lots of runs and took plenty of wickets.
I would like to end by saying how proud we all are of one of our parent governors who is a firefighter and was present Grenfell Tower tragedy. How wonderful to have heroes within our own community!
