Headteacher Take Over Day

This week I had to hand over my pearls, and my job, to Miss Datta. She did a wonderful job of monitoring learning, ensuring our site was safe and meeting with a variety of people to review our provision. I would like to thank Miss Datta for being a brilliant Headteacher.

Copperbox Arena

This week Yellow Class pupils travelled to The Copperbox Arena, at tThe Queen Elizabeth Olypmic Park to take part in the Pentathlon. We came second against the other London Boroughs. Well done children. We are all extremely proud of you!

KS2 Sports Day

Once again we walked up to the Queen Elizabeth Stadium for our annual “KS2 Sports Day’. I have been the headteacher of Eastfield Primary School for six and a half years now and this was by far the best sports day we have ever had. I would like to thank our parents and friends who not only supported us and cheered the children on but also took part n a couple of races. Your enthusiasm was great! I would like to thank all staff and of course our delightful pupils who competed professionally against each other. Finally, huge thanks to Mrs Colocassis, Mr Lopez and their team of helpers, without your organisational skills sports day would not have been such an amazing success. Congratulations to Saturn House for being our overall winners and coming first place.

Ivy’s Got Talent

On Thursday evening we joined our family of Ivy Schools at the Dugdale theatre for a Festival of Talent.  Eastfield, Lavender, Larkspur, Brimsdown, Walker and Churchfield Primary Schools performed a variety of acts. We were all in awe as we watched each school take the stage. Well done to all the pupils who took part. It was indeed an evening to remember.
