We have reached the end of yet another academic year and what a great year it has been! Thank you to all for your continued support and dedication to our pupils and to our school. Together we are a brilliant team.
The Lion King
I can honestly say that this was the best Year 5 and 6 show ever! The Year 5 choir sang eloquently, complimenting Year 6’s exceptional acting and dancing. It was a tale of tragedy overcome by justice and love, a tale that reflects our lives in so many ways. I must say, the performance brought many tears to our eyes but the emotive parts were often coupled with bursts of humour. A spectacular show! Thank you to our pupils and their families and to my wonderful staff. This is why we rock!
Year 6 Disco
Our parents did a marvellous job of organising Year 6’s disco this week. The children had a super time boogying the night away. Thank you for giving up your time.
This is a rather strange time of year at Eastfiled, filled with mixed emotions. We are preparing for our new pupils with great excitement yet simultaneously saying au revoir to our Year 6s. We are truly blessed to have worked with such wonderful pupils and wish them good luck in their new schools.
Nursery Fun Days
It was an utter joy watching our Nursery pupils wiggle whilst balancing bean- bags on their heads during their Fun Sports Day This week. Thank you to all the parents who came and encouraged the children to take part and have fun. The children then had even more fun at The Teddy Bears Picnic. It was a pleasure to see so many happy faces.
Don’t forget to read, read, read throughout the summer holiday and take part in our Summer Reading Challenge!
I would like to end by wishing three members of staff continued success in all they do. It has been a pleasure working with Ms Shallcross who after a few years at Eastfield is moving on to pastures new with the Primary Science Teaching Trust. Miss Bissette and Miss Errol are also leaving but will remain in the borough of Enfield. We are happy that they now commence the next stage of their professional journey and know that they will take a part of Eastfield with them in their hearts.
I wish you all a happy summer break and hope to see you all refreshed and full of energy in September.
