Yellow Class Rock at London’s Panathlon

Teams from 21 schools, who had all qualified from regional events, gathered at the 2012 Olympic and Paralympic venue, which for the purposes of this huge event was split into two: one side for London schools and another competition for those in the south east. Our pupils came second out of all the schools. Well done champions!

Wah Gwaan!

What a fun- packed, bright, sunny Jamaican fundraising day we all enjoyed on Friday. Thank you to our great staff for organising the day’s events that also included playtime activities. A big thank you for your generous donations which will be sent to the Salvation Army School for the Blind in Kingston, Jamaica. The cake sale was a huge success too!

Reception’s Assembly

Reception brought tears to the eyes of everyone who attended their assembly ‘The Enormous Turnip’ on Thursday. It was utterly brilliant; a sheer joy to see how they have all grown in confidence and in their learning over the year. Well done muffins!

Year 4’s Violin and Cello Concert

Our musically talented pupils in Year 4 entertained all the school and their families once again; they performed a wonderful concert showing off their musical skills. It was superb! Well done children and Mrs Parkhouse, our queen of music.

Summer Fete

Today was the day of our summer fete. Our newly formed Community in Action(CiA) did a splendid job of organising such a wonderful event to raise much needed funds for our school. The smell of yummy barbequed burgers and hot dogs filled the air. This was complemented well by the sounds of laughter. Thank you to all who came to support us and especially to our CiA who have worked tirelessly to ensure this was another successful event.
